Gemma was an integral part of my campaign to win the by-election. Although she had a number of responsibilities, she spent as much time as possible out on the doors with me. She’s got what it takes to be a great MP.
Gemma helped me beat the SNP in my constituency. My result in 2007 bucked the trend and I couldn’t have done it without her. Gemma really understands the importance of campaigning all year round.

As a new mum I’m interested in support services in our town. Gemma took the time to listen to my concerns and I know she would do a great job as our MP – she really cares about people in our area.
Gemma is a fighter and having spoken to her about crime where I live, I know she’s the right person for the job.
As a teacher I’m worried about cuts to frontline public services. Gemma understands just how important it is to protect these services and I trust her to stand up against cuts.
Gemma is brilliant on the doorsteps. She’s a tireless campaigner and she inspired me to get more involved in the Labour Party. She’s definitely getting my vote.
As a local businessman the economic situation is of great importance to me. Gemma is a local candidate who understands what this area needs.
