Bringing Better Together to Clydebank
Gemma spent Saturday talking to locals who were stopping off at Asda for their weekend shopping.
The MP’s campaigning comes ahead of Scottish Government plans to hold a referendum on independence in 2014.
Following her visit, Gemma said:
“I was delighted to launch the Better Together campaign here in Clydebank. Without a doubt, the message I got from local people on Saturday was clear; that Scotland is a better and stronger country as part of the UK.
“When the referendum comes around, everyone’s vote will count and everyone’s voice needs to be heard. That’s why I’m looking forward to continuing the Better Together campaign here in Clydebank and getting out on the doorstep to ask local people their views.
“I love Scotland but, like many people, I think we will have a better future in the UK"
